Welcome to 3/4G!

Hello and welcome to the 3/4G class news page. Here you will find updates on what we have been learning, photos, pieces of work and information from 3/4G.

Please also keep an eye out for the weekly email update which will contain key dates and information.

We are very excited to show you what we get up to this year!

Haiku Poems

In our English lessons this term we created beautiful descriptions about the settings of Paris and France. Below are some examples of our impressive Haiku poetry.

Trim Trail Fun!

Harvest Festival

This term we celebrated the Harvest Festival. We visited the Long Buckby Baptist Church and sang some hymns to celebrate the importance of harvest. It was great to see and hear so much enthusiasm! We also discussed the importance of fairness and sharing equally. A huge thank you to the children and families that brought in food for the Harvest Festival.

Stunning Start - France!

We have had a busy few weeks settling in to our year in 3/4G. We started the year with our new Geography topic, France. We enjoyed our 'Stunning Start' experience where we tasted different French cuisine and watched a tour of Paris from our very own Parisian café. We also took part in a quiz and an Eiffel Tower building competition using only straws and masking tape! This term we will be learning more about France and its physical and human features.
